  Hyundai's marketing director Andrew Cullis said the i20 was likely to be popular with drivers of new and used vehicles. "The i20's standard spec combines all of the things that buyers want, such as remote central locking, air conditioning, electric front windows and an iPod jack in the stereo," he stated.   Doblo Gets More Grunt 19 Feb 2002 (News)
  FIAT has announced an uprated diesel version of its Doblo utility which is not only much quicker on the uptake, but also much cleaner. Its 1.9 litre JTD common rail injected engine develops 100bhp (v/s 63bhp of the standard Doblo diesel) and 201Nm (148 lb ft) torque at 1,500rpm. With its JTD engine the Doblo gets to 60mph in just over 12 seconds, goes on to 104mph and emits 168g/km CO2, which pulls it back to the £150pa VED bracket.

  The ML430 will be dropped and replaced by the ML500 which gets the 292bhp V8 from the S-Class. This develops a massive 325lb ft (440 Nm) torque at a usefully low 2,700 rpm which shouldbe good for off road and towing. Top speed is 137mph, with 60mph coming up in 6.5 seconds. Thankfully, fuel tank capacity of all MLs has been increased to 83 litres, so reckon on £66 to fill it up.
