  Nissan issued a recall but no for all Almeras, mine wasn't included. I took my car to Nissan garage yesterday and they confirmed it's the timing chain and fixing it would cost £900-£1000. I really think Nissan should own up and issue a recall for all Almeras before someone is killed.

  My Nissan Qashqai is having trouble starting when left over night or if left for a while. Takes a few attempts to start. Once started  its starts again but but always on 2nd crank .

  My 1997 Nissan Almera has suddenly developed a fault. The front wipers and front washer jet have stopped working but the rear washer jet still works.  I've checked the fuses and they are fine - I suspect it's not the motor because the washer jet stopped working at the same time.

  Hello, My Nissan Primera ABS system developed a fault, whereby the ABS kicks in for a few miles causing the brake pedal to judder and then the ABS light comes on. I bought a new sensor and had it fitted this week (at an independent garage), but the fault remains.

  i have  a 1.0 litre auto l regd nissan micra that lost accelaration when i was driving the started to do a kangaroo hopping motion the rac towed me to a garage who told me the cat could be blocked so had a whole new exhaust  but it is still doing it will drive fine when cold but when warm does exactly the same thing again
