  , and I'm after some advice / tips for options for sat nav and blue tooth (or just blue tooth) for a car I have just bought - a 2009 BMW 520d, which doesn't have these at the moment.   I'm really not very tech-savvy!  The car doesn't have satnav or blue tooth (although does have the buttons).  It does have an aux input and a cigar lighter and BMW single cd player.

  Provided a more reliable Turbo can be fitted I will keep the car for 10 years (my original intention and why I went Indie post warranty). Even if I go Independent, BMW should surely be paying for the new Turbo. 45K miles and 4 Years old for a so called premium brand is a disgrace. It is obvious that BMW Turbos are a MAJOR fault and yet a lot of readiong on the web today offers ittle cause for optimism.

  Hi All, I have a 2003 "03" reg BMW 330Ci. Recently I have the MIL "Check Engine" light up on my dashboard. The car is very sluggish lower MPG and the idle rate rev counter when stationary is hopping up and down. I suspect I have emissions related problem on my car, maybe its one of the oxygen/lambda probe sensors faulty.

  At the very end of the costings was an additional £1000 which included VED, first reg fee and delivery. Now have I missed something here? (I am old) but BMW says the on the road price includes these things but the dealer has charged me for them. An explanation would be gratefully received if I have missed the obvious. Thanks.

  I travel on a dual carriageway   it’s not that long about   1 mile the speed limit is 40mph .About half way along there are traffic lights .There are on regular occasions vehicles that set off down the road like at F1 starting grid (I assume that vehicle fuel is verry cheep to some) get I guess to about 60mph only to anchor on at the midway lights they are usually on red (as they are linked lights) and then off again .If someone is doing any reasonable speed or not going fast enough in the right hand   lane then it seems it’s OK not just to break the speed limit but to cut up anyone in left lane so as to undertake because they are in such a rush. What I cannot work out is why it’s BMW 90% of the time. Are they exempt from the Highway Code? Or is just the games console attitude you get with some BMWs and is it compulsory?

  I ran a 2001 BMW 530i from new for 12 years and 155k - just brilliant.  I had to replace it this year so bought a 2012 (62 plate) 520d.  It's almost as good as the previous car save in a number of respects which I think are all tyre related - it doesn't ride or corner so well, there is less road 'feel' and a considerable amount of road noise.

  Help please 1990 520i with 88000 mls and full BM service history,for the last 3 months is very difficult to start first thing in the morning. 3 visits to BMW and 3 further visits to BMW specialist has failed to resolve the problem,in fact it is getting worse. At first they said it needed a full service - no improvement,then it was a faulty ECU unit,had this replaced - it did not resolve anything,then they replaced the thermotime switch which apparently controls the cold start injector - no difference at all,and finally the filter on the fuel line (it must be partially blocked)the car has still got the original problem.They now admit that they do not know what the problem is.

  Hi Can anyone help with a battery drain problem? My Mother has a N plate BMW 328 Cabriolet auto, which has (since purchased and not from new), refused to start after say a week of non use as the battery is completely dead? BMW (several dealers) and auto electricians seem unable to resolve.
