  Hi, I have a 1994 Peugeot 106, and recently had the tracking / wheel allignment sorted. They also replaced something like an axel, or similar device that connects the steering to the wheels (i'm not very technical and can't find the receipt).

  Has anyone had a towbar fitted by a Peugeot dealer? I have had twin sockets fitted for Caravan towing but there is no feed for the fridge ( should only be live when engine runs due to high current flow) have contacted dealer where fitted and they say they dont normally connect the fridge supply, just permanent power for the van when static.

  I have a problem with my peugeot 206, common rail diesel, millage 78,000. It's suddenly started making a diesel rattle when pulling away and accelerating, but after 2000rpm quietens down and will cruise very nicely. I took it to a local dealer to have the cam belt changed approx 10,000 miles before it was due.

  (However, it didn't reappear after switching off and leaving for a few minutes) If you read the handbook it indicates impending engine catastrophic failure and rush to your Peugeot dealer! The car is a T reg 1.8 petrol estate, 88K miles. The 'airbag' warning light has been flashing for 3 years, and supposedly 'fixed' by dealer on two occasions. Oil and water are OK; car is serviced annually.

  I have a 2002 307 with the RB3 radio cassette player, have just got hold of a Baupunkt IDC A09 CD changer which I know is the exact model used in the higher spec motors than mine, my question is, will there be some 'specialist' connections required to connect the cd to the radio, I am wondering whether Peugeot will have modified the RB3 so that customers have to buy the CD changer through there dealers (at around £250)?   Peugeot 106 XL(1.5 diesel, 1997)Oil and Temp Warning Lights I've lost both the oil and water temp warning lights on the dash after the following happened: I either put a 12V feed or earthed the yellow wire on the injector pump multi-plug and there was a loud cracking noise (like a fuse blowing).

  After 168K my so-far trusty Peugeot 306 diesel had developed a very stiff gear shift. Sometimes it is almost impossible to engage particularly 1st and 2nd gears. If the car is started from cold, the problem is not nearly so bad. It gets worse as the engine warms up.

  Checking the car found warning sounds when using passenger door but not drivers door. Should it work on both doors or is this something Peugeot have missed on right-hand drive? Its a 1998 R-reg Diesel Turbo. I would like to be sure before trying to find the fault - Remember all those DAF(T) trucks in the 80s whose cab lay to n/s because the factory put the extra leaf in the o/s spring for left-drive.

  Hello All I have got a Peugeot 306 Turbo Diesel on a 1997 R plate. The probelm I have is that the interior heating fan does not operate and also the the heated rear screen does not work. Has anyone else had this problem? Are the two faults related to each other?

  Drove the car myself and they are so bad that it feels like the ABS is working all the time, and the car lurches to a stop! Has anyone else had this problem? The goober at peugeot reckoned it was from excessive heat through commuter driving!!! (plus its still got that stupid power failure problem - emissions is it? ECU cure?)   I have a 5 door Peugeot 306 and the problem is when I use the key in the passenger door to lock or unlock the doors all doors operate accept for the drivers door it doesn't do anythink. But if I use the key in the drivers door all doors even the drivers door work correctly.

  I am pretty sure I saw a Peugeot 807 yesterday - being driven through Ipswich in convoy with a Renault Vel Satis. Quite a striking sight. Expect an article next month in one of the motoring mags - 'Big Funny Looking French Cars - Group Test'.

  The tachometer on my Peugeot 306 1.9 Turbo diesel works only intermittently, with no apparent reason for the failure. The sensor has been taken off and cleaned and the connection has been cleaned, to no avail. Any suggestions, please,in layman's terms?

  I have a 1997 Peugeot 406 2.1 LXTD Family estate. I bought the car as a demonstrator. It has been an excellent buy but it has always had an irritating rattle which seems to come from the near side rear door area. I have taken the trim off on several occasions and searched in vain for the source of the rattle.

  Have just purchased a Peugeot 406 2.0 turbo with 15k on the clock, mileage seems original, 4 years old. Its suddenly developed a fault after about 500 miles constant use whereby the speedometer reads 0 until you reach about 30-40mph and then reads normally from then on.
