I have a 5 door Peugeot 306 and the problem is when I use the key in the passenger door to lock or unlock the doors all doors operate accept for the drivers door it doesn't do anythink.
But if I use the key in the drivers door all doors even the drivers door work correctly.
When I use the remote to lock or unlock the doors they just lock and unlock straight away.
I have change the motor which is in the drivers door and that hasn't made any difference.
Please can anyone help what could be wrong

Apparently the wiring looms that run through the doors ( by the hinges ) are notorious for giving faults, repair kits available from Peugeots.

greaser pv - Thanks I will have a look.

I agree with greaser that the wiring loom between the door and the A-pillar is likely to fail - it bends, twists and stretches the wires in the bundle and some wires are liable to break.
However, I've had a look at the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual and I can't see any specific wire which is likely to cause the behaviour you describe. So you could be in for a long search to find the broken wire, bad connection or faulty module.
If I were you, I would live with this. Just forget about trying to use the key in the passenger lock - you never need to if the remote is working, anyway. Even when you come to sell the car, it's unlikely the buyer will spot it!
