  I have a 55 plate Tdci tourneo with all the toys, AC, heated seats, heated front and rear screens, etc. my query is what voltage should i have? at engine off i have 11.8 volts running at 1500 rpm i have 14.8 volts with everything on i have 14.08 volts any ideas?

  Hello, wonder if anyone can help or has experienced this. I had a new front windscreen wiper unit fitted today (described as unit / rod & bracket by the garage) to my 2003 Audi A4 Avant. I picked the car up after the (independent) garage had shut. The problems with the wipers were certainly fixed BUT I immediately noticed that, with the climate control on Auto, the windscreen blower came on and went off every 5 seconds or so (the intervals were not regular).

  I use an AutoGlym car wash kit, the shampoo and wax are excellent, but I am begining to wish I had never used the glass cleaner. It did make the windscreen very clean at first and I was very happy - until it rained. I have never had any problem with my wipers streaking before, or just not clearing the water from the screen.

  Having trouble with my 2000X 306 1.4 (45,000miles) Both problems may be related: One is that the car is running hot very early. Turning on the rear heated windscreen makes the temperature gauge shoot up nearly to red from 90. Turn it off and it drops immediately. I am not sure whether this has anything to do with the wire that has appeared in the footwell at the drivers side.

  It has 3 owners from new, FSH with receipts from the last 10 years, and has covered 70,000 miles. It's in very good condition but the aircon isn't very cold. It doesn't have a heated windscreen, colour is a metallic orange/red. Three weeks ago WBAC offered £595, last week that increased to £650.
