  Is it worth buying one of these as a cheap family car? I've always liked Mazdas and I used to own 323 petrol but never owned or driven a diesel but now the prices of diesels have dropped down to fit my budget. Could someone comment on Mazda diesels and 626 please? Thanks

    It had gone to Mazda for investigation multiple times but they couldn't find anything.  Eventually  he complained to the finance company who agreed a full refund and compensation.  Meanwhile, Mazda found the problem(s).....

  Hi All I've been looking at buying an old Mazda 3 (04 - 07) but am rapidly going off the idea due to the frequency of rust issues. eg. Went to see a "mint" 55k 04 Sport only to find it had just been sent to the bodyshop for new wings. Does anyone know if the 07 facelift cars are any better ?

  Mazda Diesel...34,500miles....taken to dealer who said the oil & filter needed changing, service due in about another 1100 miles.....their diagnostic machine told them nothing, cannot believe its oil & filter.........any ideas??

  Saw the new Mazda 6 close up for the first time today. It was a sport model in copper red and I thought it looked great. So much more original than the mundane Mondeo. I could well be tempted when the time comes for a replacement of the faithful Pug (I had a 2.0d 5 series as a definite, but I really like this).

  Just had a brief look around a brand new Mazda 2 Sport. Tried to sit in it , but even with the seat right back, my knees were against the steering column. 31" inside leg isn't so long. Interior room compared to SWMBO Getz seemed very tight. Generally looked very attractive though- and it isn't even a VW ;>)

  Hello, I ned some advice because I've read conflicting info. I am thinking of getting a diesel mazda 6 but have read a post on here about the DPF issues with the Mazdas but I have also read that it's DPF's in generall that are an issue. So I have a few question to help clear things up. To prevent DPF issues, do I really just have to take it on the motorway for 10mins a week?
