  • Classic concept cars celebrated at British Motor Museum exhibition 29 Jul 2019 (News)
'As visitors journey through the exhibition they will be asked a series of questions about how they think the car might change in the future and how it may affect them. Finally they will be asked to decide how they feel about the future, as it has many unknowns!' The exhibition is included within the Museum entrance fee. Museum entry is £14.50 for adults, £12.50 for concessions, £9 for children (5-16 years) and under 5s are FREE.
  • Hidden Heroes: Rover 45 V6 1 Mar 2019 (News)
The engine was Rover’s KV6, as fitted to the 2.0 75, and mated to a five-speed Jatco automatic transmission with Steptronic function - a transmission that was arguably less advanced than the Stepspeed CVT that was fitted to four-cylinder 45s and 25s but which, apparently, would have exploded if fed with the extra torque of the 150bhp V6.

  • Everything we know about the MoT exempton for classic cars 6 Feb 2018 (News)
From May onwards, advisories will cover items such as lack of access (perhaps caused by an undertray beneath the engine or a plastic sill covering) and will be intended for the benefit of the tester – and future testers. Advisories won’t have automatic safety implications, but will be recorded on the MoT database. Customers, however, won’t be able to see the advisories (which will still be entered on the system manually), as they won’t necessarily imply a fault with the car.

It’s quite steeply priced at £4,300, but it’s certainly a unique car – very few are imported to the UK.
