• Citroen C5 - Catastrophic failure of TPMS sensor 16 Jan 2015 (Forum)
  Fortunately I did not lose control.  This article, plus several posts to Citroen owners forums, shows that I've been travelling in a timebomb.  The sensor in the other front wheel was also corroded and its retaining nut already showing signs of splitting.  So I bought two new sensors/nuts and when the tyre shop came to remove the sensor in the other front wheel, it immediately came apart along the crack into two pieces.

  Can anyone please help me with a very annoying problem? My 2007 Citroen C5 VTX has been back to the local Citroen dealer 5 times now with the same problem and it is as follows. Without any warning the sat nav/operations screen that is built in will all of a sudden turn off, and everything goes black.

  I recently bought a 05 Citroen Xsara picasso, after a few weeks I had a punture when i went to release the spare I found it was sezed up ! the tool they give  you to undo the clip is hopeless 1. why put such a stupid nut on it. whats wrong with onev the same size as the wheel nuts?

  hi ,i have a 2.0 hdi 16 v engine code rhw . it has a problem when its hot ,it wont start .i can start it if i disconnect the tempeture sender unit cable      .this car starts every time when cold . i have change the temp sender unit with a genuine unit from citroen . i had a vechicle elec guy have a look and he said it must be an ecu fault.can any one give me any advice ,thanks ray.

  Basically, the replacement has to be small, automatic (torque-converter, not a mechanised manual or CVT), and must have a decent enough turn of speed to overtake on a motorway happily (which the Getz 1.3 auto doesn't have). My suggestions so far have been a Citroen C3 1.6 auto, or a Ford Fiesta 1.6 auto, both around 2008 vintage. Any thoughts (good or bad) on the PSA AL-4 transmission? Or whatever transmission the Ford uses? Any thoughts gratefully received.

  Altea 1.9 Pdi D 90HP S base spec C3 picasso 1.6HDi VTR+ 90hp I'm having real trouble trying to decide on which car to get. Idon't like waiting so the altea can be had in 2 weeks and the citroen in 8 weeks. The altea has Esp safety system but is base spec whereas the c3 is mid spec but no safety esp control. The c3 picasso comes in horrible colours except all black. The cost of either isnt a consideration as the cars are a present from my brother.

  i've had my citroen c4 for the abot two year and every thing has been fine . just this last 2/3 months the off side rear door wont lock . well you hear it locking but go pull the handle and it opens the hole car so for this i have locked the door using the manual child lock in which you have to enter your key in a hole on the side of the door and turn but i'm worried that ive done the wrong thing .

  Citroen C3 has started cutting out, whilst driving, will normally restart but occasionally I have had to pull over and wait a couple of minutes, power steering has also gone a couple of times on it. Frightened to put it in the garage because each time I put it in they tell me it needs other things doing to it as well.

  Hi I have a Citroen C5 Exclusive with Xenon headlamps. After the lights have been on for a few minutes the nearside lamp will go out for a few seconds then relight. Once this starts it just keeps on going out and coming back on.

  Hi I loaded a new map to my Citroen Xantia lastnight, using a KWP2000 USB box but about halfway through, the power cut out in my house and on trying to reload the file I'm getting either the message ECU not found or ECU not kicking.

  I am looking to buy my daughter a small car which must be cheap and economical. The one I think suits her best is either the Toyota Aygo; Citroen C1 or Peugeot 107. I believe these cars are more or less identical and made in the same factory but just badged differently. Can someone please offer some advice as to which would be the most sound buy ?

  Looking for advice on immobiliser keypad on a Citroen ZX Elation deisel 1997 model I have no instructions books or anything with the car to refer to. I am having problems with the keypad immobiliser, when I type in the code the green light comes on ,but the red light also stays on and the car won't start so assume it is still 'immobilised'.

  Today I changed the battery of my neighbour's 97 1.4 Citroen ZX for her. Alas she lost the remote fob for it several years ago and when we connected up the battery the alarm armed itself for the fiirt time in years! The car still starts/drives but the alarm goes off when you open the door/bonnet/boot most embarrassingly.

  Afternoon all, Got my aging Citroen Saxo on the road this morning on the way to work, 5 mins from house, a loud rhythmic banging started. Didn't have a clue what it was of where it was coming from so got out and looked under the car and couldn't see anything out of place... got back in and carried on driving but was still happening so turned around and limped home in it...

  I recently bought a Citroen C3, 2003, and all has been running fine. Went to top up the oil and on taking the cap off found that I couldn't. The reason being that underneath the cap, within the circumference below the cap, was a sort of up-side-down "T", which was quite chunky.
