  Hi HJ, I'm in dire need of help. I drive a 2006 Peugeot 407 V6 petrol and it gave me a depollution system fault a couple of months ago, followed by a heavy misfire. I visited my dealer and since it was due for service it was given a major service and replacement of 4 ignition coils.

  The technician sprayed some WD40 onto the terminals in the electric box next to the battery in the engine compartment thinking that there was a dead connection. It still didn't work. He recommends taking to a Peugeot Dealer and we all know that would be financial suicide and literally at the mercy of being bent over a barrel and the chances are they wouldn't have an exact solution and it would be the start of £1,000's spend before actually finding the problem.

  Hi having a problem with the blower fan on my 1994 1.6 Peugeot 306 not working, some unusual sypmtoms which may mean something to someone with more knowledge of car electrics than me. I know for a fact the blower fan itself is working as it comes on intermittenly from time to time, today for some reason it came on twice when I was messing with the hot cold dial/switch next to the blower switch?

  I'm really pleased with my 55 plated Peugeot 407 2.0 HDi SE saloon - it's quick and quiet and a great deal of car for the money. It even accelerates in 6th! I paid less than £10K for a 12K mile example from Robins & Day. It was a Peugeot owned car.
