Peugeot 407SW - bikemade3
Picked this car up from Hertz for a day or 2, how do you open the boot. We have had to resort to dropping the rear seats, tried everything to get the boot open to no-avail help?

Reminds me of when I had a new Audi A4 dropped off for me at work a few weeks ago. Delivery driver left me with the keys, I jumped in the drivers seat, turned key and nothing! As I drive an A3 I couldn't understand what was wrong. I depressed clutch, wouldn't start, pressed footbrake wouldn't start! After five minutes (which included looking in the manual which was in the glovebox) I couldn't start the car.

Eventually after calling the hire company I was informed it would only start if the steering lock had been engaged after the car key had been removed. The manual said nothing about this!

Driving me mad any way of disablibng the door locks automatically locking/unlocking at 5/10 mph?

We have a citroen, and as they are both PSA its likely to be the same. Find the button on the dash to lock the doors - press it and hold for a while and you should here a noise to confirm that it has turned on or off.

Whats driving you mad about it? I know with my Scenic it can sometimes be annoying if, for instance, I take the car out the garage and drive to end of driveway to let kids in, it will lock in the process.

But other than that, I think its a great idea.

Always fun when you dont know how to do something.

Last week I pulled up at the petrol station in a brand new 55 plate 3 Series Coupe, wearing some jeans and a hoody (and, as I do, looking about 18).

I then appeared to make an utter fool of myself by taking at least, literally, 5 minutes to undo the filler cap. Oh dear..
