• Anyone local to Cardiff? 4 Jan 2008 (Forum)
  If so can they let me know why the Cardiff Gate roundabout (the one you enter after leaving Asda at Pontprennau (sp)) to get to the A48 or M4 has no streetlights? It's a 50 limit on the dual carriageway and there is no lighting on the roundabout or on the approach.

  I was at RAF Shawbury today, and saw something at the side of the road as I passed through the main gate that made my jaw drop. Anyone care to guess what despised element of motoring has made it into the Royal Air Force?
• Peugeot 206 - Car accident - No other parties involved 5 Nov 2014 (Forum)
  The only damage was my car (which is a write off) and a fence post (which took most of the force) & farm gate. No other people or cars were involved. After the accident, I got out and spoke with the lady who owned the gate and agreed to get it sorted ASAP as she needed it for the weekend. The car has gone to a scrap yard and the parts for the damaged fence are payed for and awaiting installation which will be done on Saturday.

  Following diesel gate Carlos Gosm s group which includes Mitsubishi, Dacia and Lada as well as Renault / Nissan has surprisingly overtaken VW Group and Toyota for the first time. This man is the one to watch !

  The two brake lights are on ass soon as engine is started and on until engibne turned off. The top tail gate brake light is not working. When pressing the brake pedal the two brake lights then become slightly brighter.

  We just bought a 2hnd 2021 VW Golf, Gill's first car in a decade. It has Apple CarPlay, which neither of us has used before. Gill has a well-used iPhone 7 on iOS 15.1. She wants to use CarPlay to play music from her phone, but so far no joy. The car and the phone see each other via wi-fi but CarPlay doesn't recognize the iPhone as a device it can access.

  Looking at a parked 03 Focus this morning noticed that the Auto lever gate only showed P R N D 2 1 ,does this mean it only has four speeds ?.Could not find the answer in car by car breakdown so over to the forum please.

  Anybody watch this evening, lots of complaints about Carcraft and some dodgy dealings, heck wont take my business there, one lady bought a car went out the gates of Carcraft and it broke down, she went back and they told her its was now not their responsibility, weird or what, a lot of complaints.

  Near where I live the schools have 20mph limits outside the school gates. The limits are posted on the yellow flashing light poles which warn of a school crossings and also on the ground. Are these limits in force all the time or only when the lights are flashing, ie at the start and end of the school day?

   replacing auxcillary belt... i used a tyre lever to ease it off.  getting new one is more brutal. Gates show special tool SFT001.   their tool is very pricey for what it is and only ever going to use it a few times. any advice on alternative tool. anybody, please.

  Daughter lives in a flat and parks on the site, some visitors parking and open to anyone who is visinting a resident, no gates, no parking permit required. Suppose it is a bit like a supermarket car park - private but with public access. Do vehicles parked in an area like this require tax and insurance??

  I'm going to see The Boss at Old Trafford on 28th May. Any Man U regulars or others with ideas on parking in the area? Gates open at 16.00 show starts 17.30 on a wednesday. Memory says there is an industrial estate near by. Happy to walk a couple of miles. Returning on M6 South. Thanks.

  The Chinese company has refused to commit to a long-term contract with the site's owners, property firm St Modwen and will only agree to extending its current contract, which runs out on February 22, for six months. A spokesman for St Modwen told the IoS that Nanjing wants more time to draw up its business plan for sports car production with the GB Sports Car Co before it signs. It wants GB SSC to buy a majority stake in the joint venture and to put up the bulk of the £100m it needs to restart production of MG vehicles.

  Hello all, it has been some time. I have started to notice that the waste gate diaphram on my wifes Audi A4 tdi is leaking oil.......I can not see how oil would get there unless the turbo was leaking? Any thoughts or advice...thanks H

  I saw policemen pulling over motorists who had stopped on a yellow hatched box. For those who know London it was the Cromwell Road junction with Queen's Gate. Has anyone heard of motorists being prosecuted for this offence. In fact what is the offence? and what was the penalty? I would add that pulling them over caused chaos - but for me it was worth it.

  It appears to be of the bolt on type but my Haynes manual does not give the procedure for doing this. Unfortunately I managed to scrape the gate reversing out of my drive and its dented quite badly...so I think the only option is to replace the whole wing...thanks :o)
