  With at least a two month wait for a factory build on a bog-standard Mondeo Zetec diesel estate, I told them to forget it and will not be doing business with them again. Now a major Volvo dealer is seemingly unable to procure me a bog-standard V60 D3 estate to test drive via Volvo's central fleet.  It's taken them 10 days to come up with nothing. How do these dealers actually manage to stay in business?

This deals with this problem. The question is, how can I get to read this bulletin in full? It seems to me that the document may provide me with something to quiz the dealer over and knowing its contents would be very useful.

  Hello, This forum is amazing - such a great source of experience. So now I'd like to tap into it a bit further.   I currently have a 2000 Volvo V70 2.5D. I really like the handling, the power and the relative economy. But it's got 250k on the clock and I can't really afford for anything major to fail.   So it's time to think about possible replacements.

  But have been reading for yonks..! Here's what I'm after some advice on. In Oct 2008 I bought a 2005 model Volvo V50 for my wife - cost £9,000 (the car, not my wife). It has done around 4,000 miles in the last five months. A recent "strange smell" has been investigated by our local Volvo main dealer and described as probably the clutch & DMF in urgent need of replacing.
