  The same 1.2 and 1.4 petrol engines are also available on the Ibiza S which also comes with air conditioning. The 1.4 litre version is available with automatic gearbox only. Prices are £8,300 for the 1.2 (just £300 more than the same car without a/c) and £9,500 for the 1.4 Auto. Ibiza SX spec was introduced earlier this year on 1.2 litre models and now replaces the previous SE model.

  This RHD 2002 built 42k mile Jap import 350Z automatic had leather and satnav that spoke in a sweet Japanese voice, but seemed to be lost. It sold for £13,750. A 72k mile 03 reg MINI Cooper in red with a white roof but with no a/c or CD player sold for £6,325.

  This uses a 200PS turbodiesel engine with a hefty 400Nm of torque, along with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox as standard.  Fuel economy or performance figures are yet to be announced for the GTD, too, although Volkswagen is promising 'high efficiency levels'.

  A similar example of this 1960 Alvis TD21 Drop Head Coupe was voted “favourite car” against some very still opposition at the Britwell Salome classic car charity run last Sunday. This TD21 automatic has been owned since 2009 by the vendor who has enjoyed it immensely and had the brakes overhauled by Red Triangle 500 miles ago. Considering the fact that a similar car sold for £150,000 in Historics Ascot sale last year, this one is very conservatively estimated at £54,000 t0 £62,000.
