  • Electric Transit on trial 24 Mar 2024 (Forum)
On turning it on it’s immediately evident that it’s also not fit for purpose with an estimated range of just 115 miles! This plummeted to 88 miles after a run of 17 miles in good weather and driven gently. These are around £80,000 yet it’s capable of doing two short school runs with confidence in winter at best, in other words absolutely useless and not good value for the tax payer.

  • Kia Sorento - Kia Sorrento loosing coolant 26 Jun 2023 (Forum)
I hadn't noticed any signs of head gasket failure other than coolant Leak, no overheating, no smoke/smell, no loss of power, no milkshake oil and no bubbling from radiator cap.  Mechanic is saying he pressure tested it over night and is lost pressure and when running cap is rated to 1.1 bar and system is running at 1.3 bar so system is over pressured due to head gasket leaking. I took my own combustion leak test to garage to test and left it in radiator cap for 45 mins and liquid stay blue whole time.

  • Renault Clio - Fuel gauge incorrect 28 Aug 2022 (Forum)
On the trip computer, the amount is reducing since filling up on Thursday and the miles to empty is reducing, so it seems to be remembering the information in the fuel tank before filling up on Thursday. In the past, I have been running low and I have but £10 in just to get me to a supermarket and the gauge doesn't move, so maybe this issue will be something similar and it will sort it self out. if I run the fuel tank low.   I have read about disconnecting the battery and it will reset everything, but need a code to set everything up.

  • 2007 kia cee'd CRDI 1.6 Diesel - Short on Mass airflow sensor 29 Jan 2019 (Forum)
The car ran as normal at 70 MPH till the speedometer suddenly dropped to zero and I lost power completely. At that time, the engine was still running, but no power was delivered to the wheels and I had to pull over and switched off. After that, I could not switch on the engine and had to call rescue.  The following day, I found a fuse, that is next to the engine is blown.
