  • Clio accelerator cable recall 1 Oct 2001 (Forum)
The specifically called me back to put me through to a person in authority. Guess what - they plugged me into the 'help' line. I won't buy another Renault and I suggest that anyone contemplating doing so checks out Renault UK to discover how indifferent they are to the concerns of their customers.
  • Renault Manual Dilemma 29 Aug 2001 (Forum)
A manual of course is a major asset, engineers in workshops do sometimes have to make reference, so why do Renault have to be different, they are seemingly denying me the opportunity to maintain and/or repair my vehicle. Somebody out there must have one going spare or at a price, chrisjc@barclays.net because Renault certainly havn't.

  • Renault out... From The Guardian - New Moskvich 19 May 2022 (Forum)
Russia to take over Renault’s Moscow factory to revive Soviet-era car French carmaker joins other western firms leaving Russian market, with option to return within six years     The development, which was met with ridicule by Russians with long memories, follows Renault’s decision to join the wave of western companies such as McDonald’s and Siemens leaving the Russian market as the war in Ukraine nears its fourth month.
  • Renault Clio 2003 - renault clio - toxix fume light 1 Jun 2015 (Forum)
Hi I have recently bought a renault clio and had a number of issues with it (due to a dodgy seller I think - we live and learn!)   Initially the passenger airbag, serv, and toxic fume lights were on and having done some digging I wiggled some of the wires under the passenger seat and they all went off.
  • Renault Zoe - 2013 Renault Zoe 12 Dec 2013 (Forum)
This year saw the release of Renaults latest electric car, the Zoe. While some people are put off from electric cars by their lack of versatility and their cost, the Zoe seemed to tackle this problem, retailing at £13,995 (not a bad price for a new 2013 car) as well as having great practicality and performance.
  • Renault - Timing Belt Failures 26 Dec 2007 (Forum)
Which in Renaults case :- Warranty : 60,000 miles or 3 years whichever is sooner. Timing Belt Replacement: 72,000 or 5 years whichever is sooner. This just doesn't stack up! Surely, it is in Renaults own interest to ensure that the timing belt is replaced, so enhancing the reputation and reliability of their vehicles.
