Renault Master - ignition barrel - trickydicky

return spring has failed in ignition barrel does anyone have any experience with these or any advice. was hoping to fit a new spring if possible

The spring action is in the ignition switch,not the barrel.

thanks for the info. Will it require a new switch? Is it competant D.I.Y or a visit to the dealer to fit ?

I am fairly sure you can,t buy the switch as a seperate part.Can only be bought with the lock barrel.If you order to chassis number,then you will not have any key issues.It is not a difficult job,but a bit fiddly.

had switch apart this afternoon,no sign of a return spring in the switch. I pressume it is in the barrel.Will order one next week . Thankyou for the replies much appreciated
