  Just seen this one in Belle Vue auction for next week MAZDA MX-5 2.0 ICON, 2 Doors, Roadster, Petrol, Manual Transmission, Registered 23-10-2007, only 700miles. Pre-reg/demonstrator I'd guess, but it'll be a sound buy for someone. £12500ish???? As long as you didn't want the folding electric roof & it's premium price.

  I have a strange problem with my 2000 Mazda 323 Diesel. I keep getting a sqeeky/rattle type noise only when the engine is hot, it's worse when accelerating at around 2500rpm or if you hold the throttle steady, soon as you lift of it goes? I was thinking that it's an engine noise but it's only when the car is moving so I am now suspecting a gearbox or clutch problem?

  just bought a 89 mazda 323 se, tried to fit a new cd player but on wiring it in i think i have done something wrong, i have since found out i need a connecting cable from new radio to car. but my interior lights & central locking no longer work, any ideas on what i might have done and how i can fix it. many thanks, fred

  Hope someone can help give me an idea on this one. I have a 1992 Mazda 323 1.6i. There is a starting problem where I have to crank the engine for quite a few seconds before it reluctantly starts. Rather than immediatly going to the right revs it slowly coughs it's way up to about 1200rpm.

  I need to take my car this week to Mazda (the car's still under warranty) as it misfires at times, but as it's an intermittent fault they might not detect anything. I was told yesterday by a friend of mine that I might have to PAY if they can't find any fault, I was astounded.

  Hi all, Someone I know has a 10,000 mile, 1 year old Mazda 6 diesel which has worn out its clutch. Is this a known problem with this car? He has taken other cars to the 100,000mile mark before without the need for a new clutch, so it doesn't appear the problem is down to him, though you never know.

  I have just had my Mazda`s first year service. Within a few days a rattle appeared from front offside. Took it back to dealer . They said some rust may have fallen behind disc whilst taking off the wheels to check. It appeared OK for a few miles after collection, then it started again.

  Is there a maximum amount of time, they can take? I was not happy, they are fitting not fitting original Mazda parts, as I was hoping to buy Mazda warantee. It could scupper my plans, if there are non-Mazda parts in the car. I guess, I would have to buy a warantee from one of the other companies...  It is nearly 4 weeks gone....

  Phoned the garage to let them know on the Monday that there was a DPF issue.  Obviously i'm not going to drive it 320 mile back to the garage so opt for the local Mazda dealer.  Mazda dealer ask if the garage had reset the computer after they serviced it. Answer was no so they reset the computer and off i go. Today i start up the car and set off for work to have the check engine light come on 1 mile down the road.

  Hello, I got this problem with Mazda, having wrote letters and having conversations on the telephone i am now at the situation where i am stuck in a corner. I purchased a brand new Mazda 6 SL 2008, I've had it for around 9 months now.

  Ford's always score in this department in that the 'technology' they build in is always user friendly and you don't usually need to have to resort to a handbook to find your way round to set things up I like the shape of the Mazda and several people have commented on it...it regularly gets mistaken for being a Lexus at first followed by the 'I didn't realise Mazda made cars like that' comment afterwards The driver seat could do with being able to be lowered by another inch or so The Bose sound system is 'ok', but nowhere near as good as the one I had in a Y reg 2.4JTD 156 Veloce a few years back I was originally going to get a 1.8 tdci Titanium X Mondeo but the waiting list put me off.
