  For those of you who are unaware of the issue i am having with my car, i had an engine run-away which simply means my car hit max revvs on its own accord. Mazda are simply blaming me for not checking oil levels when i specifically told them i do according to the handbook. Ok, the case has been going on for over a year now and yesterday i have just found out from VOSA what Mazda have failed to tell me after many letters asking them about a recall for the same issue which was introduced to Mazda 6's with a build end date of 2008, which left my car in that frame.

  It needs to have a boot big enough for associated luggage for my business.I'm currently driving an Audi A3, 3 doors, 1.9, 09 so I would like something similar in terms of driving experience. I was looking at Audi A4 Avant 1.8 and Mazda 6 2.o petrol but I'm not really sure. I'm not bothered about fuel consumption as I do low mileage and I plan to keep the next car only for few years. I alos came across Saab 9-3 but I know they stipped production so maybe will be difficlut to find spares?

  Ahhh it was all going so well, many years of pleasurable driving in the super reliable Mazda (petrol) and then SMACK! It was killed by someone failing to notice that were all stationary on the M65 earlier this week. But, so far, all is going well, by the end of the day the car had been picked up by my ins co's approved bodyshop, inspected and the quote for repairs passed to my ins co where they determined it to be a total loss.

  Hi all, I picked up a Mazda 6 sport ( 2003) a couple of months ago. When I bought it I didnt realise it had parking sensors as they did not work for the first couple of days (not sure how I missed the sensors on the rear bumper).

  Mazda refused the warranty claim saying this is a serviceable issue. I  note from the injector readings that one injector is way different to the other 3.  I note that the sump oil has risen by over 10mm in the last 900 miles.

  Was thinking of doing the scrappage scheme, but the maths just don't add up for me - after a weekend testdriving Mazda 2 / Suzuki Swift / Toyota Yaris, I decided that my money would actually be better off going on a used car. So... in a bit of a departure from the supermini, I've decided that this is probably the last year till i'm 65 that i can have some motoring fun (am 31 now, gf is desperate to have kids etc), so am really looking at an MX5.

  Compared with my 9 year old Peugeot 406 it seems very noisy to me anyway on both counts. Anyone know where I can get a soundproofing kit for it? A mechanic has told me that Mazda have made the rubber bushes in the supension too hard - which is probably why the car handles so well otherwise! So, he says soundproofing wont help much since the noise is coming up through the suspension arms, springs and shocks into the bodywork.

  It looks as though I have loaned someonr £16,000 + I am not criticizing Saga in any way, their have behaved faultlessly, but I find it incredible that a main dealer should treat its customers thusly. I have of course written to the C.E.O. of the Co-op, copied to Mazda, but, what would have happened if I had been unable to raise the money, I am due to drive to Spain in just over a week..

  Hi I have a mazda 6 2.0 2004 model. Purchased it only 3months back. Its had multiple problems in the past but got them all fixed one by one. Today the engine has started making a noise...its a loud whine from the engine everytime I accelarate.

  Hi All! This concerns a Mazda 323 1.6 2001 model year. I used to own this car but passed it to a friend. Recently he's been having a few problems with the engine check lamp illuminating. At times it flashes (indicating a serious fault).

  Bought a Mazda 6 about 2.5 weeks ago. Did regular checks the other day and noticed oil overfill. I'd say it is quite significant. It goes above max to nearly the same distance as from min to max marks on the dipstick (so I think it is about 0.7 litres).

  My daughter has decided to hand back her work provided VW Polo and buy her own car with a budget. Of 10k. She has set her mind on a Mazda 3 with thank goodness the 2 litre petrol engine. But has she overlooked any skeletons in th cupboard such as the ABS sensor which I believe has known to give problems. Your advise would be much appreciated.

  I have a three month old Mazda 3 bought on a pcp deal. My wife has just driven it into a wall! Actually it was only at 1 mph and it has jest left three 1cm scuffs along the bonnet rim. My question is, should I get it done at the main dealers or choose another (cheaper?)

  hi my mazda has developed a problem with the ignition, it basically goes on fire periodically.  also I recently replaced the timing belt that charges the battery and 6 weeks later it has snapped again.

  Just having a read of the HJ review of the new Mazda 6.  I'd have another 6 - don't really care for the 19" wheel option and it's disappointing that they're not doing a hatchback but it is a good looking car, and they've souped it up a bit whilst lowering the VED.

  Opinion/advice please on whether my MX-5 - 4 years old in May and with 16700 miles from new -  REALLY needs a 48000 mile service - incuding replacement of brake fluid and rear diff oil change this year ? It has had  Mazda main dealer service in accordance with manufacturer schedule thus far - including 37500 service a year ago when it had 11000 on the clock.

  Hi, I have been getting water inside my Mazda 6. I can actually hear it moving around on acceleration and braking. I am not sure where it is coming from, the carpet is wet it seems to be at the back. Can anyone tell me where the sunroof drains are?

  mazda 323f 1.6 2003 model. just had full service and driving along then car just died. rac breakdown came out and put on diagnostics and said was crankshaft sensor. replaced that part but car still wont fire and rev gauge doesnt move. checked fuses hoses coils and fuel all fine but there is no spark for some reason. any ideas anyone because has confused me???????

  Is it a problem that all cars fitted with this unit will definitely suffer at some point, or is it an issue that affects only a small percentage. I am particulalrly interested in knowing the frequency of occurency on Mazda 3s. Thanks,
