  We must have had AT LEAST 7mm of snow here in Surrey, on the way from work I saw a car abandoned with the front badly smashed in from a morning prang. The morning drive consisted of people going at either 2mph or driving as though it was a clear summer day.

  I am thinking about buying my first car, and need a car that I feel in control of, safe and can comfortably drive being a 4ft 11. The car that I am learning to drive in is a ford fusion 2 and I don't think is a comfortable 'fit'. Any advice appreciated.
