Now in its fourth year, the popular sprint/time trial at the famous Crystal Palace South London park has firmly established itself as London's leading motorsport event. DAB standard in BMWs – other makes likely to follow 15 Nov 2012 (News)
CAP New Vehicle Data expert David Saville said: “Whether it’s in 2015 as originally planned, or later, DAB will be essential rather than a ‘nice to have’ option. Experience shows us that where the Germans lead in the car market, others follow, and we therefore expect most manufacturers to start making DAB standard across their ranges in the coming year to 18 months.” In car DAB radio availability has steadily increased over the past two years. -
Cold Snap Predicted This Weekend 13 Jan 2012 (News)
One in four motorists know nothing about winter tyres or their advantages, global tyre manufacturer Goodyear has revealed. In a bid to prompt change and reduce the number of accidents on UK roads, the leading tyre brand conducted an independent survey which found 26 per cent of motorists could not explain the differences between summer and winter tyres. The OnePoll survey of 4,000 motorists found that almost half of those questioned believed the common misconception that winter tyres are only needed when it snows. -

Ford's new large cars show improved residual values 14 Apr 2010 (News)
This represents improvements of £1,275, £825 and £175, respectively, over outgoing models. Coupled with lower CO2 ratings, lower P11D tax ratings, and enhanced fuel economy, this leads to overall whole life cost savings potentially of upwards of £1,000 annually, which benefits both company car drivers and fleet businesses. On sale this month, Mondeo, S-MAX and Galaxy are priced from £17,295, £20,645 and £22,945 respectively, representing savings of up to £3,400 compared with outgoing equivalents and with insurance ratings starting from just 12E on the new ABI insurance ratings 1-50. -
