BMW 2 Series Convertible - red light camera 28 Mar 2023 (Forum)
I'm a little confused as to what red light cameras look like exactly? I thought most of them have a tiny black camera on top but this one I saw last week looks like there is just a white box attached to the traffic lights...? -
NA - How many coppers in a camera van? 24 May 2018 (Forum)
Settle an argument please. Mate drove past a speed camera van, legal speed, but noticed that the man in blue was sitting in the drivers seat. Subsequent argument was whether there would have been anyone on the camera because they don't go round in pairs? Anyone know for sure? -
Dash Camera.....What have you got 29 Oct 2013 (Forum)
I have got a SmartWitness SVC100GPS camera and the video quality is rubbish! I have just placed a order with Ipixi for a Winycam X100FHD which is FullHD. What camera's have people got and how would you rate it? Have you ever had to use the footage? -

Invalid Speed Camera - Chideock, Dorset 4 Mar 2008 (Forum)
Have you been caught by a speed camera in Chideock, Dorset, in the past 10 years? According to the Daily Telegraph today [ page 4 ] a camera there has been found to be illegal because the road referred to in the paperwork does not exist. -

Can you confirm that come Monday you r switching on a data communication system down our motorways to connect a load of speed (Specs type) cameras with one camera between each junction. And if its not Monday when? This is not a hoax, its a serious question. -
Satnav / Safety Cameras 29 Apr 2007 (Forum)

Mobile speed camera 1 Apr 2018 (Forum)
Driving on the A14 last night at 9.30pm, eastbound just after the fixed speed camera after the A11 joins in the Cambridge/Newmarket area i spotted a speed camera van parked up in the next layby, right at the beginning and sitting away from the kerb as they do when working. Do they work at night? -
Nissan Juke - Is it a good choice to get a backup camera? 24 Mar 2018 (Forum)
My friends back-up camera installed on their cars and apparently, I don't. They say that it is for safety measurements and secure parking. I know it is an excellent choice to get a backup camera, but I don't know what and where to order online. -
Lexus IS250 - Rear view mirror replacement with camera version 29 Aug 2017 (Forum)
Gents and ladies. Anyone own and use one of these replacement rear view mirrors that inclide a camera and can be attached to a camera at the read? Just interested to see if there is anyone with some real life experience of the them rather than hearsay/rumour/innuendo etc. Thanks -
"Average speed" cameras 8 Jun 2007 (Forum)
I recently passed six "average speed" cameras on the same stretch of road and sometimes I could see them flash and sometimes I couldn't. What would you normally expect? Do the cameras just work in pairs or would the six have averaged the speed over each of the five stretches of road that they covered. -- L\'escargot. -

Ford Mondeo Titanium X 2.0TDCi 163 (2011) - Reversing Camera Fault 16 Mar 2015 (Forum)
Hello, I've just bought a Mondeo with reversing camera and have noticed that the rear camera view displayed on the screen flickers and switches between a green screen, the radio display or map display. I've done some searching on the internet and the finger points towards water ingress. -
Inforad speed camera detector database update 18 May 2009 (Forum)
Since loading the latest database onto my inforad unit, it has decided to notify (and alarm if I'm going too fast) where there are no cameras at all. For those people that don't know, Inforad notifies of fixed camera locations via GPS in exactly the same way a Sat Nav points of interest works. The only thing I can think is that the latest update now includes possible mobile camera locations as well. -
How we can eliminate speed cameras 10 Nov 2006 (Forum)
Interesting news this morning about the things people have done to avoid points/ban when caught on cameras. If they were burglars avoiding the law through perjury we would all be incensed about it. So why is this law different? One guy was talking about how there are now hundreds of people employed my speed camera partnerships, reliant on income from the cameras. -
Those sneaky little rascals down at Tom 20 Sep 2006 (Forum)
...Tom. I have a 910 and for a while it merrily bleeps away at every speed camera well in advance. The speed cameras were set as POIs. However, lo and behold, I update it yesterday and I've just noticed, it never beeped at the red light camera near my house. That was a little odd I thought - so I fiddled about with the POIs and not one camera is in there. -
The Speed Camera Thread - Volume 14 23 Nov 2003 (Forum)
I have noticed that over the past week the direction and distance signs \'hiding\' the scameras on the A556 and the A5103 (just at end of M56) have been repositioned, so that the cameras can now clearly be seen. I guess that GMP are about to start reaping the rewards from these cameras. Shame about the one on the A556 going as it was always a laugh to race off against some joker in a souped up Nova at the lights just before the camera, get them over the limit, and then brake suddenly and watch them get flashed.
