  I am unsure if one is allowed to bad-mouth a local Citroen approved service centre on this forum but if so, I would love to give others the opportunity to avoid them. I have a lengthy story I could tell and am happy to name names. But please advise if this is this the forum to do so.

  hi we have a citroen 1.6 16v 2003,for some strange reason,when we turn the radio on there is a beeping noise which beeps constantly( like a heart monitor beep ),it is the original radio fitted to the car and it was bought secondhand like that.

  Hi all. Could anyone out there tell me which is the correct Haynes repair manual for my 02 reg Citroen Xsara 2.0 HDi estate 110bhp? I can see manuals for all other ages and models but not this one. Thanks for your help.

  Serviced my 2006 Citroen Dispatch yesterday, only problem being the fuel filter. Any advice on changing it? Is the pump self bleeding or is there a hand pump? The model is the 110 hp version, the new filter is a paper canister type meaning the filter casing needs split.

  Hi, I'm trying to find a fault code reader for my Citroen C5 2.2 Hdi on an '02 plate. But, does anyone know which protocol it uses. It's got an OBD2 type connection in the glove box but a scanner I got off ebay doesn't connect to it. Does anyone know if this C5 is EOBD or OBD2 compliant ?

  hi,i,ve just installed a TEXALARM 9471.G1 model,in my citroen xsara 1.4i (1999)but when i put the fuse in to make it 'live',the alarm flashes for about 5 seconds then the siren goes off and won't go off until i take the fuse back out,or shut the door,and wait for 30 seconds,then the alarm will stop.any suggestions would be very grateful.

  Need to get rear discs & pads for my citroen zx td. Been looking at GSF car parts, and there are two choices: Brembo or bendix/lucas . Both are the same price. Any preferences, i.e. is one better then the other? Both seem reputable, just wandered if one would last longer / perform better then the other.

  I have a Citroen AX which is parked on a slight hill overnight. Recently I have noticed that when I release the handbrake in the morning, I have to apply a bit of acceleration before it will move. Can anyone advise what the problem might be and what work will need done (i.e. is it a big job) - the car is due for MOT next Monday....

  Tonight my gracious other half has just effed up the door lock on my pride and joy and now it won't lock from the inside or outside. Does anyone know of a place that has Citroen ZX door locks (and keys) ON THE SHELF? Preferably in the Gatwick area? Typically, HER car is ok, so it's a case of "I'm alright Jack".

  Hi all, I have a Citroen C5 2.0 hdi with the 110 non fap! (Thank god) It had an anti pollution fault light pop up and engine management light come on. I was doing a service anyway so I change oil, oil filter, air filter and I noticed the maf had disintegrated.

  The engine is also rougher than previously, particularly noticeable when stopped against the brakes and in gear. My local Citroen dealership has ben unable to identify a leak, nor have I.   I just asked a question about the Citroen Dispatch Hdi, but gather the same answer is true of the Xantia/406 etc engines. Are the 8valve versions of the 90 & 110bhp 2.0 Hdi engines mechanically the same? i.e, from what I can see they are, and if so, it mean I can actually have a remapped chip for a 110 fitted to my 90bhp (well, 94bhp) Citroen Dispatch, giving a final figure of 138bhp rather than 119.
