In heavy traffic or when towing this can lead to an excessive number of changes in and out of first gear which overheats the automatic transmission fluid and splits the oil cooler fitted integral to the radiator. The cure is to fit the separate radiator and oil cooler of European market Shoguns and Pajeros. -

Silverstone Classic 2017: Jaguar royalty to join XJ220 celebrations 25 May 2017 (News)
. Helfet was Jaguar’s senior sports car designer and the brains behind the XJ220’s timeless lines. The two leading lights were recently reunited at Don Law Racing in Staffordshire, the family-run business that is responsible for keeping XJ220’s on the road. Law currently has 22 XJ220s undergoing various renovations, some with just delivery mileage on their odometers. Law will be curating the record display and parade at Silverstone in July. -
