  I am aware I can visit my nearest VLO and renew there but that is only possible if I apply for a duplicate V5c at the same time at the cost of £25. All this is getting very frustrating and looks as though I shall be having to cough up £25 for a duplicate V5c plus the cost of a 60 mile round journey to the nearest DLO.
