  You may like to know Citroen are recalling Xsaras for front bearing/suspension checks... They seem to be using their own customer database and not the DVLA one as this ones owner has moved since it was bought and the letter went to the old address (yes the registration doc has had current address for some time) The Xsara is about 10 months old...

  It looks like the HP pump runs off the timing belt so I?m not changing that, unless I know it is that. The injectors need to be added to the ECU by a Citroen garage so I can?t change them my-self. The HP fuel preasure sensor is part of the common rail, Citroen say it can?t be changed. I can?t run some injector cleaner through, as I can?t start the engine.

  While waiting on the test / result at my local Indie I saw a flyer from one of the big garage chains - parts on Special Offer. Everything from Service Kits to Clutches to pads & disks covering a whole array of cars - Citroen, Peugeot, Vauxhall, Ford............. Servicing Parts Kit for an Citroen AX - for that 4 plugs, oil filter, sump washer and airfilter and 5 litres of oil - under £20 inc VAT. We have to assume that they are genuine parts on the basis that the parts are from the franchised outlets - addresses of these at the foot of the page.
