  I had my BMW 330 coupe Sport stolen from my home Friday 6th am. The pink fluffy dice got in my home and nicked the key. Its black with cream leather, last few digits of chassis JU65133. Most probably either in bits, cloned or in europe.

  A mate of mine says he has wrecked the engine in his bmw 535i. It is an 'H' reg. He was doing 55mph in 5th and it just died. No lights on the dashboard? No locked wheels? No bangs, clatters or smashed pistons? Apparently there is no compression(RAC man).

  Often when I experience frustrating behaviour from other motorists (including speeding past my house), I look to the offending vehicle and discover to my disappointment that it's a BMW. Disappointing, because I'm a BMW driver too, and am aware of the rather tarnished reputation that exists in the motoring community. Some time ago I therefore started trying overtly to show courtesy to other motorists wherever relevant, in order to spread the message that "we aren't all loonies, we just have an average share of them."

  I am contemplating the purchase of BMW 323i with build date of July 1998, on a 98 S-plate. I am unclear when engine blocks ceased to be manufactured with Nikasil liners, having found out: - March 1998 from www.lestac.co.uk - Feb 1998 from BMW customer services, who told me this car should have a steel-lined engine block. - Sept 1998 from this site, and the advice to avoid pre-1999 cars.

  I have remarked a couple of times recently how BMW parts prices for the older models have become very reasonable. In the interests of fair and balanced reporting, I thought I should mention my latest experience ... My 1992 5-Series needed a new fan clutch (viscous coupling) so I went to the local BMW main dealer where I was quoted £110 inclusive.

  On the first wash I noticed the front and rear tyre sizes are not the same? Fronts are 225/40 r19 Rears are 255/35 r19 All run flats is this normal on BMW's?

  Just picked up my new car above on a14 plate absolutely love it. Been an Audi man but Dubois at first going to BMW but very impressed . Quality of the seats and leather is top notch loads of seat adjustment and lots of toys. Love the puddle under handle lights at night!

  im thinking of part exchangeing my bmw for a fiat 500, i only brought this car from new in 2010 and its on finance but the repayments are huge! on a fiat i would save about £320 a month, would this be a stupid thing to do ? any suggestions please

  Reported today that judge has ordered the forfeit to the crown of a woman's BMW 318. She was caught driving with excess alcohol inbibed, and banned for a year. Shortly afterwards, she was caught again having excessively imbibed, and also driving whilst disqualified. { P.S., No, you can't borrow our judges.

  I have a 2004 BMW 530d e60. Its showing check engine light. When we scan for faults it shows codes P 1278 & P 3263. What are these codes for?Please and thanks

  Hi Guys, Anyone know what the approximate fuel system pressure is on a bmw 525 or a Vauxhall Senator 3.0 24v? Basically i'm looking for what pressure a Bosch Motronic system would typically have! I'm guessing around 3 Bar? Cheers chaps. Jon

  I have recently had to pay my local BMW dealer to repair a water leak from the nearside headlight washer. This proved to be expensive. Now the offside is leaking. Is it an easy job to repair/replace the parts or would I be well advised to swallow hard and book the car in to the dealer to repair?

  New job means need to buy a car. Have about 8k to spend, and will be doing upwards of 20k miles a year. Had settled on a BMW 320d, which can pick up for 7.5k with 66k miles on clock. However, research has suggested various horror stories about turbo failure. Any advice welcome. Cheers Tim

  Right getting a company car and have narrowed the choices down to either an A6 2.0 Tdi or BMW 520d. Have driven both and the Audi seems better suited but I like the look of the 5 series. Have until Wednesday 12 noon by the way. Thanks

  I cannot find how to adjust (up as they are too low) the dipped lights on my BMW e34 518 (with electric height adjustment)- I have a Haynes manual but their indicated (white)adjustment bolts dont seem to exist on my car - can anyone suggest how I can get them sorted?

  My BiL needs to re-gas the Air Con on my old 3 series...he has had an offer from a BMW dealer to have it done for £94.00 including gas and VAT. Is this a good deal ?. Apparantly the menu price is in the region of £164.00. Would he better getting quotes from an indie?
