  About 6 months ago I purchased an approved used vehicle from a main dealer. The car was about 15 months old with 1 previous local owner who had traded it in for another of the same model.   Hi guys, Does anyone know of an insurer which offers short term insurance for Under 25's on cars above group 18? I need to insure a Group 19 car for a period of 1 day. I usually use Norwich Union or Dayinsure for this purpose but they will only cover me for up to Group 17 as I'm under 25. My existing insurer won't help becuase the car does not belong to me.

  Apologies if this has been covered in the past few weeks whilst I've been away from the forums... My parents ordered a new car in mid-July for delivery 3rd week of September. They are still waiting.... Part of the reason for delay has been, according to the supplying main dealer, that the car delivery (transporter) firm that the manufacturer uses in the UK has gone bust.
