  Someone got talking to me yesterday about car finance . What he was basically saying is that if you where to go to a main dealer for a used or new car citroen being cit , ford being ford etc..........................you where more likely to get finance there than if you where to go to a used car supermarket . Maybe someone can recitfy this ?

  Hi folks, Slightly odd question from me this time! Is the front bumper on the Renault Kangoo the same as the bumper on a Citroen Berlingo? Reason I ask is that I need to change my bumper (having torn a hole in it...), and my local scrappy has a Berlingo bumper, but no Kangoo bumpers!! Many thanks in advance... D7

  When I discovered this forum a couple of years ago I got and so did many others, excellent advice particulary on Citroens from Mr Woollard. I do miss seeing his posts. Has he changed his ID? Cheers Peter

  Why do manufacturers fit nice shatterproof plastic headlights these days, and then fit foglights below the bumper with glass lenses? Both my 406 and Citroen C3 have now suffered from broken foglights. Next time I pop over to France for a tank of cheap diesel I will go to the dealers and get some cheap spares.

  Yes that is right, just seen the service schedule for the current Citroen models as dad has just got a Picasso HDI. The C3 HDI (Same engine as 206, 307, Fiesta) has a scheduled cambelt change at 150,000 miles and does not specify a "or x years whichever.....". The other HDI engines are specified at 100,000 miles.

  I recently bought a tow bar, for my Citroen Xantia td estate. Where can I get advise on wiring the socket please. For example does the wiring loom for all the rear lights go to one corner and then over to the other side? This would enable me to wire from just one side.

  As this is powered by the 1.6HDI unit, does anyone here have any bad experiences with owning one of these engines as I believe the earlier series up to the DV6 C were prone to injector and seal problems over a certain mileage if not properly serviced.   Any advice welcome, we're looking at the Citroen on Saturday and the Skoda next week
