  . - Look good but heard they quite prone to turbo failiure   Clio 1.5Dci (86) - again looks good but ive heard that the fuel pump can go and leak metal shards into the fuel system totally wrecking it.  Peugeot 207 1.6Hdi (90) - Once more i like the look but have heard bad things about reliability, despite my 206 being fine for me.  For those wondering, my budget is 3500-4000 max and im looking at doing about 12k a year mileage.

• Peugeot 406 - Outside tempreture display 26 Dec 2012 (Forum)
  Seasons greetings to all. I'm trying to find out what the outside tempreture display would be in the Peugeot 406. I know it displays the outside temp but what happenes when it hits freezing? Does it display a snowflake and/or flash with the tempreture, is their any particular colour of the display and is it in degres C or F.

  I have owned from new and it is in very good condition with only 70,000 miles. I recently bought a new car and decided to garage the peugeot (which has been working fine) everything excellent never any problems. I went  to run up the engine after 3 weeks but the battery was flat (maybe I left something on or not).  After the charge she fired up and I ran the car.

  Right off the bat you should know I don't know very much about cars. Anyway, I was looking at a 2008 Peugeot 308 1.6 HDi 110 (40k miles) today at a car supermarket (Car Giant), and it seemed in v. good nick, but was put off when I learned it had no service history. I asked the sales rep and he showed me that the last registered keeper was a company (it was 'something' vehicle management company ... i forgot the first part of the name), and that it was sometimes the case that if a company had to service a large number of cars, they would do it in bulk and therefore not get each individual service book stamped.

  Hi All, This is my first post so hopefully will receive some good feedback! I recently bought a Peugeot 306 1.4 LX petrol Only done 46K on a 1997. However, in haste I failed to check rad integral expansion tank and later noticed it was full of brown mayonnaise. I flushed the coolant system and WOW the sludge that came out was unbelievable.

  Hello all, There are a good few threads on the forum from people who have recurring APP circuit faults accompanied with the codes P0220/P0221 on their Peugeot/Citroen HDi's. Does anybody know how to solve these codes as it never seems to be the sensor that is at fault...? There is talk of a wiring loom trick but my Xantia doesn't match what others have talked about (i.e.

  Hi I’m from New Zealand and have a 1998 Peugeot 306 1.8 XT with an automatic transmission. My car has developed a Jekyll/Hyde personality over the last few months. Some days it idles happily around 1000 rpm when started or idling.

  Hi all! I have a peugeot 206 with a leaky radiator. It says Nissens 63502A 433168 and I believe its non standard. On my way home from work on Friday night it began massively overheating without warning and when I pulled over water leaked everywhere and there was non left in the tank.

  Hi , yesterday I put too much oil in my 1.9 diesel Peugeot expert van . I drove about 10 miles today and then it start smoking , clacking noise and rev went well up. Stoped on the side of the Rd , no oil spell temp of engine was about 80 but could not start .5 min later it started like nothing happened no smoke no noise drove nice . 3 miles later at a round about , it started again smoke noise and high revs .

  2001 Peugeot 306...1.9d non turbo.. 120,000 miles.. In Spain.. very good shape.. I just returned from a 700 mile roadtrip. After approximately 200 miles I was driving on the highway around 65mph and all of a sudden the tyipical "nuts and bolts in a coffee can" noise appeared  and was impossible to miss, much louder than the normal idle noise..

  i have a 307 110HDI 54 plate 73,000 peugeot and the engine management light (orange) has started comin on at around 60 - 70mph and i get a loss of power, still drives but no kick behind it. The light goes off once you've turned the ignition off for 5 mins?

  Hi, Car - Peugeot 306 D-Turbo M reg Warning Light - At the right-hand side of the dash there is a light which isnt included in the handbook, it looks like a sort of 'plunger' above two waves. It comes on, intermittently, when the car is a less than approx 2000rpm, and comes on more often at low speeds than high speeds.

  This 307 was code read at main Peugeot Dealers, A few faults were found exhaust pressure sensor down stream gas tempature sensor these were fitted at the time, most recently started going into limp mode again exchangeed (MAF) sensor with a know'n good one but to no avail on doing some checking using pin data did find at (MAP) sensor plug 3 pin, "Voltage at all 3 pins" PIN 1- 4.96 PIN 2- 4.91 PIN 3- 5.90 Removed both multi plugs (ECU) and (MAP) plug, Done some checking from plug to plug also voltage and resistance and all checked out at this point any feedback to this would be greatly accepted Best Regards Mickeybo {There is no need to repeat the year, engine size, and make / model in the subject header as the compulsory boxes you fill in automatically adds those details for you}

  Hi i am new to this forum and to driving our new Peugeot 307 SW Estate 2.0l TDI We bought the car from a trader on tuesday night, who just Mot'd and serviced the car. according to the cars history it had the cambelt service done at 88k miles. It has now done 107k miles.

  Hi, my first post and my first problem! I have a peugeot 308 was in a light accident but now repaired, all airbags replaced, airbag ecu crash data taken off. First fault is when trying to reset airbag lights (electrician used a snap on verus) it cant communicate with the ecu so wont knock off the lights?

  This would cut out when played quite loud and would not come back on for about 5 mins (by cut out I mean go completely dead display and all) I put this down to a faulty head unit and removed the CD player and fitted the original peugeot cd player in it's place. Now if i do the same with this then it goes off and last time was off for near 7 hours before coming back on with the ignition off and the car parked up????? It was like something out of Christine lol.

  The brake lights on my wife?s Peugeot 307 (06 registration) are only intermittently coming on. I have bought new bulbs and installed them, I have checked the bulbs in the brake light strip at the top of the hatchback and they are all working.
