  Car - Peugeot 306 D Turbo HDI. Hello there, The alternator has failed on my car and my father and I are having great difficulty in accessing a particular bolt. The belt has been removed. The said bolt is hard up against the tensioner pulley.

  Hi, I just had to change the near side headlight of my peugeot 307 because the old one's bracket had broken so it was not attached properly. Now the people at the MOT garage have said (after £60 labour) that there is no kick up on the headlight (ie the beam is flat).

  I have a 2003 peugeot 307 and the air con and blowers/fans have stopped working! Checked fuses and behind the air con switch for any loose connections. Any ideas before i take it to a garage? Should i get air con topped up which i doubt would be the problem as the fans don't work when air con is switched off.

  hi my wifes 307cc 2.0hdi 136bhp 06 36000miles reqs a 3rd turbo .warrenty finished in april so i could be facing a big bill .spoke to customer service , but because we are the 2nd owner ,and last service not done at a peugeot dealer could have problem with a claim . what can i do apart from bit the bullet and have it done . or fight pug .help please

  Cars being what they are today, it's laminated ,heat reflecting glass with light and wiper sensors installed. The car is only two years old and I'd like to get it done through a Peugeot dealer, so there can be do arguments about honouring the warranty if problems arise. Any tips on dealing with the insurance company. I suspect they use the cheapest firm available.

  Hi, I got up this morning with an extremely fuzzy head, couldn't think straight at all. I go into my P Reg Peugeot 106 (with the annoying immobiliser keypad), turned the electrics on and proceded to enter the wrong code 3 times in a row and it's locked me out. Is there any way of resetting the keypad so I can enter the right code?

  Peugeot 306 D-Turbo 1997 phase 2. Hi there, I'm looking at ways of getting a bit more power out of my car without altering the turbo. I have already fitted a K & N air filter which has made no noticeable difference, although fuel consumption has improved.

  pls can anyone advise me of the size of battery a peugeot 306 key fob takes. also if the led does not flash does that mean its broken. How can i test if my Infa red key fob works. it does not unlock my doors but all the doors open when the key is used.

  My car is a Peugeot 406 2.0hdi 110bhp. At the weekend I drove through a number of floods faster than I should have, and I now struggle to select gears. Randomly, when I select gears, it feels as if the gear stick wont push fully into the gear I want.

  Hi I wonder if any one could tell me how to bleed a Bosch Diesel pump on a 1994 Peugeot 306 TD as the Haynes manual is a bit sketchy It says about a bleed nipple on the pump but I am unable to find one so any help would be great as I wish to change the fuel filter and will need to bleed the system Thanks Neil slienced shouting !

  Basic in the extreme.... no battery (kick start) so lights and electrics run from alternator. Bought Peugeot indicator kit: instructions laughably brief. Doing fairly well, but three wires to connect to the relay: two purple, one green. No indication on relay as to what goes where! If I get the sequence wrong, will I fry the relay?

  I have a y reg 2001 peugeot 406 2l petrol estate ,the 20 amp fuse protecting my windscreen wipers has started blowing when i switch the control to auto rain sensor it did on three occasions . any ideas please also should i take it to a main dealer for diagnosis and any repair. ps i put a 30 amp fuse in it and it blew that one after a while . seems ok if i switch wipers to manul positions.

  Just wondered if people could let me know what their fuel economy is on peugeot HDI engines. My dad just got a 406 estate 2.0L (110bhp) and got 850 miles out of 1 tank believe it or not. Im interested in the 306 HDI but wondered if the fuel economy is as good? I know the 406 has a bigger fuel tank but it worked out at around 56 mpg and that was a lot of town driving.

  A work colleague of mine has just bought a 1999 T reg Peugeot 306 1.9 Non-turbo Diesel. I understand that the engine in his isn't the 1905cc XUD engine i.e like the one in my 1994 L reg 306 and is the later 1868cc engine. I have been wondering what the difference is between these two different engines other than a slight difference in size, could anyone please give me a bit of info as I'm interested to find out.

  Got a Peugeot 406 1.9 diesel which had a slight prang yesterday. Not hard enough to set the air bags off, damage is only cosmetic toi the front end. The problem is, it won't start! When I try to enter the imobiliser start code, normally red LED is on until correct code is entered, then the green LED comes on.

  Hi all, I have had a 1997 Peugeot 106 Independence XL for a year with no problems until now: When Im approacing lights, roundabouts etc. and slowing down the revs drop so low that the battery light either flicks on and off or the engine stalls.

  Gauge not working at all on wifes 1997 106 extra time, have checked connections on tank sender unit seems ok, has 4 or 5 wires on top of unit, surely connecting together the right 2 would make the gauge rise thus eliminating other faults so that I would know for sure that its the unit at fault. Peugeot say they are £50 - £100 + vat so I want to be sure before I pay out. Any comments welcome.

  Hi all I have a strange ( to me ) problem with my 1997 Peugeot 306 I have the warning light for ABS on and at the same time my automatic headlights and my backing light is not functioning , so i looked into the user manual and found that these things is under the same fuse , BUT , the fuse is OK , so does anyone have an idea what could be wrong here.
