  , not sure if they'll bother selling it in the UK but along with the rest of the Saab range, their design, look and feel has gone seriously downhill. Saw a few Audi Q7s too. Audi don't seem to be able to think of how to sell them, no tag lines on the ads - they seem to be saying "OK, we don't really understand this, but market research says you'd like to buy these things.

  Question - is there any way that I can check whether the belt has been changed (or rather if I drop it down to Audi can they tell)? The other thing with the cam belt is that I cannot find when Audi recommend it be changed. they say 60k for the 90bhp diesel ONLY but then do not mention when the 110 should be changed.

  I have cleaned it using vinegar...it remains clean for a day then its greasy again. what could be causing this? the car in question is an Audi Coupe 1984 B reg. Could it be something to do with dirty heater vents or something else?

  Can anyone confirm if my catalyst will suffer as a result of high oil consumption on my FSI engine? I'm using 0.5l/1000km at 27k miles 12mths old!! (No help from Audi as they say this is to spec!) Is my CAT still working ? Can anyone advise if my car would pass an emission MOT test??

  Has anyone recently used a car sourcing firm. I am in the market for a audi A4 Avant 1.9TDI 130 51 reg approx 30 - 40k. Not sure if it would be economically viable to get a car sourcing firm to get this car from auction, rather than keep attending sales myself and paying the private buyers premium to the auction house?

  I think they were in receivership in the middle of last year but they still seem to be trading. They have some really good prices on Audi A3s and when I spoke to them they were UK sourced rather than imports. The site seems a bit light on company information though. Would you consider them given their history?

  Some good advice a week or so on this site about the value of metalic paint on a new car. I was wondering what leather seats on an Audi A4 or A6 did for the resale. I do like the comfort of leather ( easy to fidget in on a long run - the synthetic cloth seats grip like velcro). However it costs £1500 extra. Any thoughts? Peter

  I will require some new tyres soon but have a concern regarding the best place to jack the car up via a trolley jack, when you see the tyre fitters in action they don't appear to give it a lot of thought but i have heard stories of underbody damage.The main dealers are unhelpful.   Can someone explain the logic in almost every new car being bigger , heavier , thirstier than the previous model e.g. Primera , Audi A4 , both cars i have had or got which have constanstly got longer.Time was with Fords if you wanted a bigger car than say a Cortina you bought a Granada , whots going on?

  As above. What are they like to live with? Real life MPG? Are they much better than Audi these days? Would I be better getting the 2 litre C class 300d, lots of power with good mpg. But not a smooth V6. I'm in an A7 Quattro at the moment and quite happy,  is it worth the change?

  JUst purchased some 0w20 from Shell 5L, discovered there are 3 different versions of 0w20: one is for JLR, the other for VW/Audi and also a spec for Volvo.  My Honda Jazz as told by the dealer says we use 0w20...does it really matter which one i use....   Thank you

  I like diesel engines, with low rev torque, having driven Audi 1.9 for some years. But I do few miles now, so which petrol car do I choose for similar power at low revs? Budget is not high, so Chevy V8 is not a choice!

  I am thinking of buying a new red (non-metallic) Audi A4. The paint on the last red car we owned, a 1995 red Fiesta, faded badly and I see lost of older cars with faded red paint. Any views on red paint being used on new cars now - will it still ffffade away?
