Driver Clocked on M25 at 149mph 27 May 2014 (News)
Highest maximum speeds recorded by speed cameras are coming down. The highest speed recorded on a UK motorway between April 2013 and May 2014 was 149mph on the M25 at Swanley, Kent. Previous highest maximum speeds recorded have been 170mph plus, for which drivers have been convicted of dangerous driving and have served prison sentences. -

Film star van heads to auction 24 Feb 2016 (News)
The van is one of two that were specially prepared and cosmetically distressed for the film to mimic the true story of Mary Shepherd, who lived in a Bedford CA van on playwright Alan Bennett's driveway for more than ten years. The van featured extensively throughout the film and is even painted by Dame Maggie on camera. It had restoration work before filming, which included an engine rebuild. Dame Maggie Smith on location with the Bedford CA van. -
