  Highest maximum speeds recorded by speed cameras are coming down. The highest speed recorded on a UK motorway between April 2013 and May 2014 was 149mph on the M25 at Swanley, Kent. Previous highest maximum speeds recorded have been 170mph plus, for which drivers have been convicted of dangerous driving and have served prison sentences.

  The van is one of two that were specially prepared and cosmetically distressed for the film to mimic the true story of Mary Shepherd, who lived in a Bedford CA van on playwright Alan Bennett's driveway for more than ten years.
