  I was behind a car transporter carrying Audi's today and on the top was a car that had its's features hidden. What amazed me was the way it was hidden, it was neatly covered in a white material which was tailored to fit, it had zips following the shape of the drivers door to gain access and was even tailored around the two exhaust pipes and mirrows enabling it to be driven a short distance.

The insurer wanted to know not only what day I was changing the car, but also the exact time - I was warned that this was important and if I was incorrect I would not be covered (horrible image of being delayed en route to collect new car and finding myself driving without insurance, or being unable to drive old car to dealer to collect replacement).

  I have been quoted ~1000 gbp for works to replace the cover and reseal. Does timing chain cover break so often? I drive my vehicle in/around the city. No off-road or country lanes.
