Very relaxing to drive.

I first reviewed this car last December. My major disappointment at the time was fuel consumption, 51.5 m.p.g. Other owners told me not to worry because as the car settled down and the warmer weather came it would improve immeasurably. I'm pleased to say that they were right. I now average close to 60 m.p.g. and even managed 65 m.p.g. on a 400 mile motorway run, even on these stupid 18" wheels. 15c, the laws of physics, engine run in after 9000 miles clearly makes a difference.

My only "fault" now is a whistle when in cross wind at speeds above 60 m.p.h. I swapped the aerial for a short stiff one and it has improved somewhat. Maybe a sharks fin is the definitive answer. Residual value after 3 years might be a concern but I'll worry about that in 2 years time. Meanwhile I will enjoy the ride.
