It's a Toyota!

I get really naffed off by 'reviewers' who say the drive is un-inspiring, or "it's bland". Well, I'm not a reviewer, nor do I test-drive lots of cars to see how they all compare with each other. What I do is, drive to work each day, drive home again, and use my Avensis Estate at weekends for local journeys and the occasional national drive. I've loaded it with beds, timber, lawn-mowers, pallets, junk for the dump and it takes all of this reliably and without any problems. It's the 2 litre diesel, and it is economical, and will bowl along at 70 quite capably and without a din. After owning a 1997 Carina for twenty years, I am pretty sure this one will deliver the same 'Toyota' long-term service as well.

Of course, any vehicle can suffer a problem, but the stats for Toyotas speak for themselves, and as a 'crusty' who pootles around rather than racing, it'll nicely thank you.
