Problems developing....

Well I have had the Vitara on the road for 2 years now, on the whole mechanically it is still very sound the engine has loosened up nicely and nips along well. I have had a nagging issue with the infotainment system resetting itself after a break in a journey, whatever you are doing it reset itself to 87.5 FM, bit annoying, 3 times back to the dealer for system resets, we will see.

More annoying is the wind whistle from around 40 mph from the passenger door mirror assembly, and now there is an equally annoy rattle from the trim around the dash board, not sure the trim will last the test of time, Mrs R is also commenting on the fact that the seats are not quite as comfortable s she first thought, this after having a Hyundai loan car for a few days which was much more comfortable.

Thought this would have been a long term car for us but alas not, I cannot put up with the whistle and rattles, will drive me made, heading back to Renault or Seat in the next couple of weeks.

The fact my local dealership is awful doesnt help either........and service costs are expensive.

Report as offensive
