really good but shame on renault supplying it with problems

I. have had the car for 1 month and a half and think its really good as a car and as an EV. Good to drive, smooth, quite fast, quite economical, quite nice interior, good build quality most the time, see below, however when I received the car, there were a few problems.

1. 1 week before the car arrived, we received a hamper to say the alarm was not going to be present on the car, and we'd have to wait for it, due to supply issues, and there was no mention of dates.
I was quite annoyed and renault agreed to pay for 3 year GAP insurance.

2. Car arrived with no mats and no wheel locking nuts. Nuts arrived after 3 weeks and still till this day, I am waiting for the mats, and annoyingly they cannot give a reason why there is no sign of them.

3. On drive home, I had a warning of an auto gearbox problem and this was traced down to the park button getting stuck and not released. I was told Renault knew about this issue and will get fixed in the future!! Luckily you rarely need to use it.

4. Most annoying is that I get a rear suspension knocking sound when i go over and come off large speed bumps, and sometimes pot holes. Its quite loud and obvious. I went into renault dealer nottingham and reproduced the noise within a few mins of a drive to a technician. Back in the dealership, thinking I'd be booking it in for a fix, no, the technician produced an A4 piece of paper, an internal doc, that said this is the issue, and there is no fix, and renault have known about it for 7 months already. I was furious.

I nearly handed back the car, but didn't want to wait a year for another suitable car comes onto the market, as there aren't many EVs under 40K. Renault have given me £200 to spend in the dealership as some kind of apology.

I now live with the knocking sound by going over speed bumps as slow and smooth as possible, but you can still hear it sometimes, it all depends on how the car goes over the bump.

I have been told its quicker to purchase the mats as an accessory and then invoice renault, so I am currenly going down this avenue.

Shame this has all happened because otherwise i really like the car.

I hope the alarm does get fitted and the suspension and park button, get fixed at some point. I would be furious if its left. Its new after all.

One more thing to mention is that the dashboard is in a silver grey fabric and there you can see this reflected back onto the windscreen every day, so i have had to put some black fabric on it, as it does annoy and bug me. nice design, but not practical IMO.
