Overall reliability

If this car stops I will look at getting the same vehicle.

Before you read this you need to understand my history, not only have I had my HGV since OCT 2006, I was doing other branches of professional driving since 1988. One of those was delivering cars to customers by driving it to their homes.

Driving is a personal thing, and there will always be cars that A person will or will not like, so ultimately you have to decide for yourself, I really like this make and model of car, because it does all I need from a car.

Good points

It is reliable, feels good to drive, has plenty of comfort room inside, it can easily do a nice motorway speed, and has good enough acceleration for me. It has 11 cubby holes plus the glove box, so plenty of storage space for stuff. Ride is very smooth. I had my 3 previous car which was the exact same make and model, it got rear ended ( 3 other cars ) and while the other 3 cars had to be towed I was able to drive away, so very safe from rear end shunt. The full sun roof is really nice, you can feel the sun on your head without the wind in your face. Engine is easy to get to if you need to do minor repairs with plenty of space to work on it. ( unlike some which are so tightly packed )

You can totally remove the 3 back seats and it becomes van.

I am getting 35.4 MPG mixed driving, in a car that is 15 years old.

Bad points( or not good ) ..

It is a heavy car and as such you will not break any acceleration records, parts can be expensive but my local garage has never had a problem getting parts. I also had to wait as the fob had to be sent in from France, and ren dealers in the uk do not stock the part.

Renault dealers are not as numerous as ford or Vauxhall, and this can have an effect on this car because of the automation of it ( windows etc ), for example the total cost of a key fob was £170, £120 for the fob and £50 to program it. ( took 15 mins ).

I sold a ford focus and got this because the focus had so little room it felt like I was driving with a straight jacket on. As a HGV driver I am used to having room.
