A very good real world car

My second x-type. Purchased to last me 10 years. Manual. Easy to drive.
Nice size for back roads. Fine motorway cruiser. 45/46 miles per gallon.Great torque therefore relaxing to drive. Lovely cabin, decent boot. I use HA fox as service dealer. Pay £30/month for servicing. They never charge me extra.Charge includes oils, wiper blades etc, car cleaning each vissit, taxi into city etc. and cost is fixed for several years.
Only gripes are 18'' wheels not as smooth a ride as the old 16'' but give more sporty handling
and xenon lights on first x type are missed (but were an option).
Car slightly old fashioned but I like that. Improved appearance over previous owned 2004 model.
Mondeo underpinings but improved. Clutch DMF failed but Hoest John had identified this as a problem on 2009 diesel x-types and I negotiated a 50% discount on the repair.
No other major problems on current car.
