Overall reliability

Overall, the best small luxury SUV on the market. Pick your options carefully!

Last car was a 2014 X3. My wife wanted a smaller car and picked the X1. It is different but in a positive way. The interior is fantastic - better than I expected. The drive is much tighter and more fun to drive. The engine, handling and braking is top notch. The ride is very firm which is likely due to the M-Sport package and the 19" performance tires. The road noise is louder. We may switch to non run flat tires next spring.

The change from the X3 to the X1 is an adjustment but overall we are very happy with the car.
