All the car you need

Recently bought an 11 month old 320i Msport auto. Only owned for a week so no down sides to report. The biggest surprises about this car? The ride and MPG.
I used to own an e90 325 saloon which on the early runfalats circa 2005 rode very poorly. Brittle and skitish and not much fun at all. So before the test drive of the F31 didn't think I would gel with msport suspension with run flat tyres. How wrong I was. A major shock. It rides wonderfully, firm yes but without being harsh - it absorbs our poor roads very well. I would agree with the F31 review on this site that the adaptive option isnt necessary. Very nicely set up, wonderful handling, steering and ride. Very planted very confidence inspiring. An absolute joy to drive. for reference my car 18" wheels with Bridgestone RFT's.
The second big shock is the MPG. Through urban areas, stop stat traffic, 30 & 40 limits, I can get 46 in eco mode without difficulty. Longer term mpg over the few hundred miles driven so far is 41 mpg - just 2 less than the long term average of the Rav 4 hybrid it replaced.
The gearbox is very smooth, the i drive easy to use, seats and driving position are spot on, the msport wheel is wonderful to look at and hold, pace is strong. Boot not massive but fits both my dogs in so fine for me. If your a car enthusiast, need a bit of practicality - this car ticks all the boxes. Oh and it has working indicators. In a BMW. Who knew?
