Best all rounder, but has cost me a bit in repairs

As an overall package it is difficult to beat.
Decent performance & economy combination (getting 57mpg - car has done ~135,000 miles so far. To me this is very good, last car was an RX-8 though!).
Good handling, safe. I have Nokian all-weather tyres on so no issues when the 'beast from the east' hit.
Well equipped (heated seats, auto wipers and climate control are all superb)
Practical (managed to get a single bed and mattress in it once)
Refined, comfortable, etc. etc.

Downsides: Various faults to be fixed: dreaded N47 timing chain rattle (luckily the dealer replaced this), front shock absorbers, leaking fuel injector, failed rear brake calliper, headlight bulbs x3... well you can't expect a 6 figure mileage car to not require any work... Its never let us down though, starts every time with no issues, covered about 25,000 miles myself so far.
