Skoda Superb
The Skoda Superb certainly lives up to its name, thanks to a cavernous and classy interior backed up by an efficient range of engines. All Superb models are good to drive and comfortable, with a high quality feel that wouldn't be amiss in any German executive car costing upwards of £50,000.
There are seven turbocharged engines to choose from and power ranges from a modest 120PS to a potent 280PS. However, the Superb works best with diesel power and the 2.0 TDI 150PS is our pick of the bunch, thanks to a company car friendly 108g/km of CO2 and a claimed 68.9mpg. We think few other cars can match the Superb's all round ability as a family wagon.
