Jeep facelifts the Avenger with new looks and 85th Anniversary Special Edition
- Updated small SUV gets new looks and new tech
- Revised interior materials
- New 1.3-litre petrol engine with two-year service intervals
- 85th Anniversary Special Edition added to line-up
Jeep has given its popular small SUV, the Avenger, a faclift for 2026, with a new look, some new tech and a reviews interior.
There's a new petrol engine with a two-year service interval rather than one year, and also a new high-spec 85th Anniversary Special Edition model to celebrate the brand's birthday.
First introduced in 2023, the Avenger brings an American ruggedness to an area of the market that also features cars like the closely-related Fiat 600e and the Vauxhall Mokka, as well as the Hyundai Kona, the Nissan Juke, the Ford Puma and more.
2026 Jeep Avenger price and release date

Orders for the new Jeep Avenger are expect to open in late summer of this year. Prices will be announced nearer to the time, but we'd expect a small increase on the current model range, which starts at £26,610.
2026 Jeep Avenger styling, interior and technology

The most obvious changes to the new Avenger are on the outside, with a new-look front end. The trademark seven-slot grille is now illuminated on higher trims, which also feature matrix LED headlights, letting drivers maintain high beam while casting oncoming traffic in shadow to avoid dazzling. All models come with full LED headlights as standard.
There are new wheel designs in 17-inch or 18-inch diameters, with new centre caps that feature a stylised image of the original Willys Jeep. New bumpers are installed across the range and you can spot the four-wheel-drive 4xe model by its vertical red front details.
There are new paint options – Forest and Bamboo – along with the previously available Granite, Ruby, Snow, Storm and Volcano. You can spec a black roof or some new bonnet sticker designs, too.
The 85th Anniversary Special Edition model has 17-inch wheels and gold-finish bumpers, with 85th Anniversary logos on the front wings and bumpers. There's a tartan sticker on the bonnet that has an "85 Year of Adventure" logo.
Inside, the cabin has been upgraded to increase the perceived quality, with new softer materials on the door panels and lower dashboard and some redesigned controls. The 85th Anniversary model gets tartan seats and the anniversary logo, with gold stitching on the cloth and vinyl dashboard and seats.
2026 Jeep Avenger engines, performance and fuel economy

The headline for the updated Avenger is a new 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 101PS and 205Nm, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. This replaces the old 1.2-litre unit and extends the service interval from one years to two years or 15,500 miles, which will save money on maintenance.
The existing all-wheel-drive 4xe model, e-Hybrid model and full electric version remain.
2026 Jeep Avenger trim levels

Jeep has yet to confirm if the existing trim levels will be changed. We should find out more details closer to the cars launch in the summer.
