Facelifted Nissan Ariya gets revised looks and a price cut
- Facelifted Nissan Ariya on sale from June
- New looks, Google built-in infotainment and vehicle-to-load charging
- Prices start from £37,000
- First deliveries expected in September
Nissan has revealed an updated version of the Ariya electric SUV, with a revised exterior design, improved interior storage and new connected technology.
Available to order from next month, the facelifted Ariya will continued to offer a choice of 63kWh and 87kWh battery options, but has a redesigned front end, new 19-inch alloy wheels, a revised centre console and the latest NissanConnect infotainment system with Google built-in.
The refreshed Ariya will, Nissan hopes, tempt customers away from rival electric SUVs such as the Volkswagen ID.4, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Kia EV5, the Skoda Enyaq and the Tesla Model Y.
2026 Nissan Ariya price and release date

The facelifted Nissan Ariya goes on sale in June , with prices starting from £37,000 for the 63kWh Engage+ model and £43,425 for the 87kWh Advance version. The first UK deliveries are expected from September.
Those prices don't include the Government Electric Car Grant, which may be applied in the future once confirmed by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles – the outgoing car had £1500 knocked off the cost.
2026 Nissan Ariya styling, interior and technology

The facelifted Nissan Ariya gets a redesigned front end inspired by Nissan’s latest design language, which it calls "Timeless Japanese Futurism”. In practice, that means a smoother, body-coloured nose replacing the darker panel used on the outgoing car, and an overall cleaner, simpler look that brings the Ariya more into line with Nissan’s latest electric car styling.
New 19-inch wheels have also been introduced, while the colour range now includes a new Plasma Green paint finish. Both single-colour and two-tone paint options will be available.
Inside, the Ariya gets a redesigned centre console with more storage space, as well as a new 15W wireless phone charger.
The 2026 Ariya also gets Nissan’s latest infotainment system with Google built-in. This means Google Maps can plan longer journeys and add charging stops based on the car’s battery level.
The system can also warm or cool the battery before reaching a rapid charger, helping it charge more quickly once plugged in.
The Ariya’s ProPILOT driver assistance system has also been updated to react faster and more smoothly. It can help with acceleration, braking and keeping a safe distance from the car in front in slow-moving traffic.
2026 Nissan Ariya motors, batteries and range

Nissan has confirmed two battery options for the updated Ariya: a 63kWh battery in the Engage+ and an 87kWh battery in the Advance.
The company has not yet confirmed official range figures or power outputs for the updated UK range. In Japan, where you can already buy the new Ariya, the ranges are 292 miles from the 63kWh battery and 397 miles for the 87kWh version, which are big increases on the outgoing car.
We know that all versions get an 11kW bi-directional on-board charger, while DC rapid charging speeds are rated at up to 130kW, which is the same as the outgoing model. That means both versions should take around half an hour for a 10% to 80% charge at a DC charger.
The Ariya also gains Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, which lets you power external electrical devices from the car's battery when stationary. Nissan says the system can provide up to 3kW of output via a dedicated connector, which is enough to power items like a laptop or an electric cooker.
2026 Nissan Ariya trim levels

The updated Nissan Ariya range starts with the Engage+ model, which uses the 63kWh battery. The Advance model sits above it and comes with the larger 87kWh battery.
Nissan has not yet confirmed the full UK equipment list for each trim. More details are expected to be confirmed soon, and we'll update this page when we have them.
