  Mercedes 'gullwing' could make £1m at auction 18 Jan 2016 (News)
  Leading the collection at the Members’ Meeting sale is the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing – the third delivered to the UK – that could fetch up to a million pounds. Kingsley Curtis, who died in 2015, was the pioneering chairman of refrigeration company HRP. He bought his first classic car in 1963 – a 1924 Bean 11.9 parked outside the White Cross pub in Richmond. Other cars from the collection include a 1923 Bentley 3-Litre TT Replica, a 1960 Maserati 3500 GT, 1981 Aston Martin V8 Volante, 1923 Rolls-Royce 20hp, and a 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth.

  Kia is recalling all Soul and Soul EV models built between 18 January 2014 and 30 September 2015. The recall is to fix a fault with the steering system which, in extreme circumstances, could cause the steering to fail. 5707 UK cars are affected, owners of which will be contacted by Kia.

  Police to deal out roadside drug testing in 2015 6 Jan 2015 (News)
  Drivers in England and Wales will be subject to roadside drug tests from 2015, as the Government looks to tackle drivers who get behind the wheel while under the influence of drugs. Drug driving tests will come into full use in March 2015, with traffic officers equipped with testing kits able to determine the levels of 16 different drugs in a driver’s system – eight of them available on prescription and the remaining eight illicit substances.

  Frankfurt Motor Show 2015: Bentley launches Bentayga grand tourer 15 Sep 2015 (News)
  Bentley has unveiled its first luxury SUV at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. The new Bentayga off-roader is built on the Audi Q7 platform and will cost around £140,000 when it reaches showrooms in 2016. Boasting Range Rover-rivalling levels of opulance, the Bentayga will also scare Porsche with its Cayenne-worrying 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 that's expected to produce 600PS and a whopping 900Nm of torque.
