Apparently SMC of Slough have the last 3 unregistered MG ZT V8's (Rover 75 derived) left in the country* so if you fancy a stonking Ford powered V8 you know what to do! Old technology OHV engine and shocking fuel consumption.. who cares? ..and the real beauty the price is just £15995. -
V6 - Single Turbo?? 11 Aug 2005 (Forum)
I maybe remembering incorrectly here? I know that the Ford-PSA 2.7 V6 in the S-Type and C6 etc is a twin turbo set-up. I seem to remember that the new discovery with this engine only has one turbo though. Is this true? If so where is this turbo situated and is it just linked to one bank. -
Vauxhall Corsa C (2000 - 2006) - Trade in for a Fiesta Zetec S 1 Jul 2008 (Forum)
My daughter is changing her Corsa Exclusive (Almost 4 years old) for a Fiesta Zetec S (I tried to talk her into a 1.4 but she did not want to know). Dealer gave her a discount and a very good trade in value for her car - he claimed he could not find hers in in Glass's guide although it is listed on Vauxhall's "value your car". -
Ford Mondeo III (2000 - 2007) - fuel system sensors 1 Oct 2007 (Forum)
Our car has also occasionally stalled on pulling off ever since we purchased it at 6 months old, even with resonable revs - The head-honcho at our Ford dealership merely says that they are prone to this! Any thoughts? {Post reformatted to remove all the >>>'s - DD} -
Vauxhall - the way it is 12 Sep 2001 (Forum)
In recent history Ford have perhaps made better cars. The new corsa is cack, I quite like the new Fiesta, to look at anyway. But Fords feel sloppy and gutless. If all you want to do is get from A to B (not via donnington on the way to work, pointing into a corner 10 seconds before you get there) then Fords do their job. -

Ford Mondeo - New family car. Mondeo? Or insignia? 3 Sep 2021 (Forum)
So my 2016 insignia engine has died, it's been a long road wondering if I should pay to repair it, but I'm at the point where I just want rid. I'm now considering a newer 2017 model Insignia(new shape) or a 2015 onwards mondeo. There are a few things in very specific about. One being it must have Xenon or Led headlights, as I can't go back to standard lights. Does anyone have any advice for the new Insignia or mondeo? -

excess on the road 16 Nov 2006 (Forum)
What we need to do is to ignore the rubbish about 4*4's destroying the environment and passing laws specifically to get 4*4's off the road. The reason being this is that 4*4's have become the icon of excess, hence the new 4*4 taxes being muted. Instead we need to tax truly excessive cars, from 4*4 like the range rover to saloons like the Mercedes S-class.
