  I purchased a new B-Max Ford 4 door end September 2013 and within a matter of only a few weeks had a problem with rear window closing and then re-opening.   As I left a supermarket car park and pressed the opening switch for the driver door window (a multiple switch cluster on my driver door) to enable me to insert the exit ticket I must have inadvertently activated the offside rear window which of course opened.

   Long day (getting up at 0130 UK time) and getting to bed at 22.30.   Went to get fuel just now and put 62l of unleaded into the S-Max which has the TDCi engine.  Drove 0.5 mile and engine cut out.  I knew as soon as it happened what I had done. RAC coming to the rescue at a cost of £199.  Doh!

  After my post earlier this month about 24 mpg around town, I want to ask you about a petrol smell in my car. May / m ay not be related. There is some sort of petrol or chemical smell in the c-max, the wife says it smells lie petrol. When I push the button for air re-circ, the smell disappears.
