  Ford has announced a lot of improvements to the Mondeo, from a super-economical new 1.8 petrol engine to a 155mph ST220. The new 130PS 1.8 Duratec SCi engine is a chain-cam direct injected petrol unit that offers improved economy of 6-8% over its predecessor.

  It comes with period photographs of the car racing, before it was put into storage in 1969. In 2015, the car was taken out of storage and restored over a two-year period – photographs of the work are also included in the sale. The car is part of H&H Classics' auction at Duxford Imperial War Museumon, Cambrdigeshire, on Tuesday, 21 March.

  Bentley specialist Stanely Mann dies 11 Feb 2016 (News)
  Stanley, with six like-minded vintage Bentley enthusiasts, founded the Benjafield’s Racing Club in 1990. Limited to 100 members, the club celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015 and in November was named Club of the Year at the International Historic Motoring Awards. Stanley was one of the great characters in the vintage Bentley world and he will be sorely missed by all.

  Hyundai Sales up 5.66% in January 5 Feb 2009 (News)
  The Korean company registered 1,885 cars in Britain last month, a 5.66 percent increase over 2008’s figures. The increase wasn’t bulked out by massive ‘fire sale’ cut-price deals to big fleet buyers, as 1,352 of those cars total went to private customers. This represents a 33.7 percent rise in sales to this sector compared to 2008 and gave Hyundai a 2.5 percent share of the retail market.
